Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland, OH, is seeking an experienced RN for the 2B Adult Psychiatry Unit. This Magnet hospital delivers around-the-clock psychiatric care and supports staff with education and resources.

As a PRN caregiver, you will provide direct nursing care, monitor patient conditions, implement care plans, coordinate discharges, and collaborate with families. BSN preferred; RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current RN license in the appropriate state.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• ACLS certification required for Critical Care areas, on hire or within first year.
• External applicants: two years of recent nursing experience.
• Internal applicants: probationary period with executive review.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and monitor patient conditions.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Assess and coordinate discharge needs.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders; document care.
• Support ongoing education and clinical nursing development.
