Job summary

Devereux Arizona’s Residential Treatment Center (RTC) in Scottsdale is a 24/7 campus serving youths aged 7–17 with emotional, behavioral, or substance use challenges. The RN provides daily medical management, administers medications, performs vitals, and supports a multidisciplinary team in a secure on-site setting.

The role requires an AZ RN license, at least 6 months of nursing experience, and may involve shift differentials and a rotating overnight schedule at 9:00pm–9:00am.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, relationship management, and multitasking skills.
• Six (6) months nursing experience required.
• Previous behavioral health experience with children/adolescents or pediatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct daily medical management for adolescent population.
• Performing vitals during/after ESI and debriefing.
• Administering medications (medicinal and psychotropic).
• Screening vision and hearing; updating patient records.
• Maintaining inventory and procuring supplies through PO system.
• Training new staff on nursing routines and communicating with departments.
