Job summary

Avera Behavioral Health Center-Sioux Falls is hiring an RN to deliver nursing care by developing a nursing diagnosis; establishing nursing care objectives; defining nursing interventions; providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends to understand patient conditions, medications, and self-care skills; noting changing conditions and needs; re-evaluating care objectives.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and implement nursing plans.
• Review physician orders and communicate care plan to the team.
• Develop and document nursing care plans and patient education.
• Maintain safety and infection control and chart accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
