The Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center and Veterans Community Living Center seeks a PRN Night RN supervisor to oversee nursing departments and patient care during the night shift, with indirect responsibility for ancillary support.
You will ensure appropriate staffing, maintain care quality, and make staffing and patient-care decisions in coordination with the shift team.
PRN Night position responsible for the supervision of nursing departments and patient care; indirect responsibility for ancillary support departments within an assigned shift. Coordinates and maintains the level of quality of patient care expected by Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center (SPRHC). Serves as one in authority and responsibility during assigned shifts assuring staffing schedules are appropriate for patient care, direct patient care is appropriate and related decisions in the completion of assigned tasks.
$50.83 per hour
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required. Five years of previous healthcare experience. One year of long-term care work experience is preferred. Previous work experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
Current Colorado driver’s license. Valid state license as an RN. Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification. Must attain and maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS). Completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support and/or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course and Trauma Nursing Core Course.
An acceptable combination of education, training and experience that provides the above knowledge, abilities and skills may be substituted.
Must obtain annual flu and Covid vaccination and any job-specific immunizations. Required to submit to a tuberculosis screening process.
