Centra Health is seeking an Administrative Supervisor to oversee administrative and operational support across Centra hospitals in Virginia. The role requires nursing leadership, policy guidance, and coordination of resources to optimize patient flow and staff performance.

The supervisor represents hospital administration to staff and external stakeholders, mentors teams, and supports Centra's strategic plan within the Nurse Practice Act of Virginia.

Qualifications

• BSN and/or MSN with eligibility for Virginia RN licensure.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current Virginia or multi-state RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS within 6 months.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, prioritization and problem solving.
• Ability to mentor staff and collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operation of the facility hours/day, days/week.
• Delegates and coordinates resources; serves as staff resource for patient placement.
• Communicates effectively with departments, leadership and physicians.
• Promotes positive public relations with staff, visitors and families.
• Back-up to Vascular Access Team during business hours and after hours.
• Acts as information resource on policies and practices.
• Facilitates patient flow and collaborates to remove barriers.
• Collaborates to address patient care and staffing issues.
• Serves as coordinator for codes, disaster control and MET calls.
