HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland in Texas City is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within an acute care setting. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to apply established nursing models and advocate for patients and families.

You will assess pain, perform procedures as ordered, document care promptly, and educate patients about conditions, treatments and follow-up steps.

Formación

• RN license required.
• ACLS/BLS within 30 days of start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 30 days.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and manage patient pain and reassess after interventions.
• Document care in patient records accurately and timely.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and facilitate care.
• Educate patients/families about conditions, treatment plans and medications.
• Prepare patients for self-management and lifestyle changes.
