Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and guidelines. The role requires GA RN licensure and BLS certification.

Preferred candidates hold a BSN and have two years of RN experience, with additional life support credentialsOption (ACLS/PALS/NRP) depending on unit. Work hours are 7:00 AM–7:30 PM with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
• Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of RN experience preferred.
• Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or unit-specific certs.
• Visual color acuity may be required for some units.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Comply with Georgia Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Support patient advocacy and coordinate care with the health care team.
