Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia seeks a Registered Nurse to plan and provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines. The role requires a GA RN license and BLS certification, with BSN preferred and 2+ years of RN experience desirable.

ACLS/PALS/NRP or other unit certifications are a plus, and color acuity may be required for specific units. Work hours are night shift (7p–7a) with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) preferred.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units preferred.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• The RN independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and within the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
