Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and established guidelines. Must maintain Georgia RN licensure in good standing and current BLS certification.

Preferred qualifications include a BSN, two years RN experience, and additional life-support credentials such as ACLS/PALS/NRP. Work hours are 8AM–5PM with rotating weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience as an RN preferred.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP or other clinical specialty certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients according to physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
