Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks an RN Clinical Nurse to provide acute neuro care within a multidisciplinary team. You will perform the nursing process, ensure evidence-based practice, and maintain compliance with state guidelines.

You will collaborate with patients and families, document thoroughly, and participate in performance improvement activities while mentoring junior staff and upholding safety standards.

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse specializes in acute neuro care, providing high-quality, patient-centered, and safe clinical care within a multidisciplinary team. They ensure individualized care by performing the nursing process, utilizing evidence-based standards, and maintaining compliance with state and professional ethical guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary teamwork, documentation, and promote an inclusive, respectful clinical environment.
• Participate in performance improvement, research activities, and support evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Support resource management, protocol development, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Mentor and serve as a preceptor for other nurses and staff, fostering professional growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; licensure as an RN (single state or multi-state Compact).
• Current BLS certification; additional certifications as required.
• Experience in direct patient care preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in clinical technology and documentation.
