Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care Neuro team on a PRN night shift. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care using the nursing process, with emphasis on safety, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include thorough documentation, mentorship to staff, and participation in performance improvement and protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Nursing degree preferred.
• Active RN license (single or multi-state compact).
• Required certifications: BLS/ARC-BLS, obtained upon hire.
• Experience in direct patient care preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in English, with basic computer skills and ability to manage a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent critical thinking, time management, and emergency response capabilities.

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Coordinate care delivery and foster communication with patients and families.
• Support quality improvement and adhere to safety and ethical standards.
