Job summary

The Valley Health System's Centennial Hills Hospital in Las Vegas seeks a professional RN to provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards. You will offer clinical leadership and support to the healthcare team, guided by Patient Centered Care principles.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to Service Excellence standards, and ongoing collaboration with physicians and staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
• One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
