Job summary

Union Health in Terre Haute, IN, seeks a Registered Nurse to join an Acuity Adaptable 18-bed unit on a PRN (on-call), day shift (7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.). The RN provides high-quality patient care and collaborates with physicians to plan and execute individualized care plans.

Required ASN or BSN, Indiana RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification. Prior RN experience preferred. Union Health offers strong benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited ASN or BSN program.
• Indiana RN license (must be active)

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the physician or manager to determine needs of patients.
• Completes the routine physical assessment using common assessment skills.
• Contributes to plan of care for pre-defined patient problems.
• Respects patients' rights, including informed consent, privacy, confidentiality, and the right to refuse care.
• Assists with patient education to promote self-care and independence.
• Follows policies, procedures, and department protocols.
• Assists the physician with special procedures.
