National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) seeks a Full-time Registered Nurse to join the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Chicago, IL. The position provides medical support to adults 18+ and carries a salary of $75,000 per year.

You will perform assessments, administer treatments per orders, coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team, and help promote stability and recovery for individuals with severe mental health needs. NYAP offers generous benefits and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN licensure.
• On-call availability required.
• Proficient with computers and software.
• Experience with adults with behavioral health needs preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform physical assessments on each client at intake.
• Identify abnormal findings and notify the physician.
• Assure treatment per physician orders and educate staff.
• Ensure timely documentation and record keeping.
• Coordinate care with the team for medical and mental wellbeing.
• Monitor medication compliance and side effects.
