Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is seeking an RN for the Access Center on a part-time night schedule at the Milwaukee main campus. The role centers on coordinating patient transfers and consultations, acting as a communication hub among ED/Inpatient teams and transport staff.

Requirements include an RN license and 3+ years of RN or transport experience; pediatric experience is preferred and Epic systems experience is valued. Night differential and weekend rotation apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of RN experience required.
• 3+ years of Transport experience as an RCP required.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Epic ASAP and Epic Rover experience preferred.
• Associate's Degree of Nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• OR Associate's Degree of Respiratory Care required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as central communication source for patient transfer and consultation.
• Facilitate communication with specialty providers, medical control, transport team and patient placement.

Serve as a central communication source for all components of the **patient transfer** and consultation process, including direct ED/Inpatient admissions and Critical Care Transport. Responsible for the facilitation of communication with specialty providers, medical control, transport team and patient placement. Acts as a resource to community and hospital based providers.
