Job summary

Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document patient care for the unit. The RN must deliver quality care aligned with OSUMC standards and age-specific needs.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, an Oklahoma or multi-state RN license, BLS, and ACLS within 90 days. A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Education: 2 years/ Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Current Oklahoma or Multistate RN license.
• BLS certification; ACLS within 90 days.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care activities.
• Deliver care appropriate to the patient’s age group.
• Develop, modify and implement the plan of care per OSUMC policies.

This individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient\'s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs. The RN is to plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with OSUMC standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures. He/she is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
