Zusammenfassung

Arnot Health is seeking a Graduate/Registered Nurse for our 4D Ortho/Neuro unit in New York. The 26-bed team delivers specialized post-surgical and medical care with a focus on teamwork, accountability, and high-energy patient care.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and contribute to Total Joint and Bariatric care excellence. This on-site, full-time role includes 3x12 hour shifts with weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and eligible to obtain NY limited permit.
• Current New York State RN license or eligibility for licensure.
• Must obtain BLS, ACLS and Stroke certifications before completion of the introductory period.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assess patients, develop individualized care plans, and prioritize both expected and unanticipated patient needs.
• Provide specialized post-surgical and medical nursing care using strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Evaluate patient outcomes, maintain compliant clinical documentation, and proactively address actual and potential problems.
• Educate patients and families while serving as a resource for department standards and patient care practices.
