Job summary

Highland Hills Post Acute is seeking a licensed registered nurse to join our team in the Pittsburgh area. You will provide direct care for residents and oversee day-to-day care by certified nursing aides, under the DON's supervision to ensure compliance with state, federal, and local standards.

Successful candidates will hold an active PA nursing license, CPR certification, and demonstrate strong communication and empathy with a vulnerable population.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a nurse in PA.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to communicate and empathize with a vulnerable population.
• Ability to maintain required continuing education/licensing and stay in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for residents and supervise the day-to-day care provided by certified nursing aides.
• Work under supervision of the DON to ensure compliance with current state, federal, and local standards.

Successful candidates will have the following:

• ability to maintain all required continuing education/licensing and remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
• current, unencumbered license to practice as a nurse in PA
• current CPR certification
• experience with PCC preferred
• Ability to communicate and empathize with a vulnerable population

Your day to day:

You’ll provide direct care for our residents and supervise the day to day care provided by our certified nursing aides. You’ll work under supervision of our DON to ensure compliance with current state, federal, and local standards.
