Job summary

Yale New Haven Health seeks a Registered Nurse to assess and coordinate patient care on the unit, under supervision of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator. You will supervise non-RN staff, act as charge nurse, and support education for patients and families.

The role requires CT RN licensure, BLS certification, ACLS within 6 months, and strong teamwork in a high‑demand unit. Experience with electronic health records is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Must have CT RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months.
• Proficient with computer software and electronic patient records.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and psychosocial condition throughout care.
• Develop and document an individualized plan of care.
• Coordinate plan with healthcare team and implement care.
• Evaluate patient response and readiness for discharge; revise as needed.
