Job summary

Vivo Healthcare Lakeland is hiring a full-time RN Supervisor (3-11) to work at our skilled nursing facility. The Unit Manager will ensure nursing staff follow job descriptions, assist in planning discharge plans, and help with daily staffing postings.

Requirements include long-term care experience, graduation from an approved nursing program, and a current Florida RN license. Candidate must be able to move, lift, and position patients. Location: Lakeland, FL.

Responsibilities of the Unit Manager (RN)

• Ensure that all nursing services personnel are following their respective job descriptions.

• Assist the resident and Discharge Planning Coordinator in planning the nursing services portion of the resident’s discharge plan.

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in obtaining staffing information that must be posted on a daily basis.

Requirements of the (RN) Registered Nurse Supervisor

• Long Term Care experience is highly preferred.

• Must be a graduate of an approved nursing or practical nursing program.

• Must possess and maintain a current Florida license as a Registered Nurse (RN)

• Must be able to move, lift, and position patients.
