Rutherford Regional Health System is a 143-bed acute care facility offering a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services. We are dedicated to providing quality healthcare in a caring, professional environment through teamwork among our staff.

Our partnership with Duke LifePoint Healthcare combines Duke’s clinical excellence with LifePoint's resources, aiming to transform healthcare in Rutherford County.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Provide professional nursing care to assigned patients, collaborating with the healthcare team.
  2. Perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, and document care provided.
  3. Monitor and communicate patient conditions, assist with activities of daily living, and educate patients and families.
  4. Supervise and train staff as needed, and assist with patient transfers and discharges.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Current RN license in NC (or multi-state license).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 4 months of hire.
  • 1-3 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
  • Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a stressful environment.
