Job Responsibilities

1. Render professional nursing care to an assigned group of patients.
2. Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care.
3. Perform activities in accordance with policies and guides.
4. Supervise and delegate duties to ancillary personnel.
5. Complete assessments and develop care plans.
6. Administer medications and perform medical treatments.
7. Document patient care accurately.
8. Monitor and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
9. Assist with activities of daily living and patient education.
10. Work as an advocate for patient well-being.
11. Supervise others and assist with orientation and training.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Current RN license to practice in NC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1-3 years of recent acute care experience preferred.

Skills and Certifications

• Critical thinking and decisive judgment skills.
• Ability to work independently in a stressful environment.
• Handle with care certification within 4 months of hire.
