CharterCARE of Rhode Island is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse for a full-time regular night shift (64-80 hrs biweekly), 7 pm to 7 am, providing professional nursing care for a defined patient group in line with hospital standards.
The RN is responsible for clinical judgment, delegated care, maintaining competency, and promoting patient, family and staff learning. Rhode Island nursing license and BLS certification are required, with 1–2 years of prior nursing experience preferred.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care for a defined group of patients according to the hospital's philosophy of patient care and standards of professional nursing practice. The registered nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for judgment and actions, maintains clinical competency and exercises informed judgment in delegating nursing care to others. The Registered Nurse promotes patient, family and staff learning.
Completion of a nursing program along witha currentRhode Islandnursing license. BLS certification.
1-2 years previous nursing experience preferred.
