Job summary

Newport Healthcare in Connecticut is seeking Registered Nurses to provide on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents and young adults in our treatment programs. You will complete health screenings, monitor chronic conditions, administer medications, and coordinate care with NPs/MDs.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, value patient-first care, and can stay calm under pressure. Part-time AM/PM shifts (12 hours) with differential evening, night and weekend options are available.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of employment.
Residential nursing experience preferred but not required.
Ability to make good decisions based on analysis and judgment.
Patient-first mindset and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

Completing client health screenings and providing direct nursing care as needed.
Evaluating medical complaints and relaying information to NP/MD.
Serving as part of multidisciplinary treatment teams.
Administering medications and ordering refills.
Complying with policies, HIPAA, and infection-control standards.
