Job summary

Newport Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide on-site nursing and attendant care for adolescents and young adults in our treatment programs. You will perform health screenings, deliver direct care, monitor chronic conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

You will administer medications, manage refills, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state where you apply
• Residential nursing experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure
• Compassionate, patient-first approach to care
• Cultural sensitivity and calm, organized multitasking

Responsibilities

• Complete client health screenings and provide direct nursing care, including monitoring chronic conditions
• Evaluate medical concerns and relay information to the NP/MD during on-site hours
• Be a vital part of multidisciplinary treatment teams

• Complying with all policies and procedures, e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, medical protocols, infection control, and local, state, and federal regulations
