Job summary

Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 12-hour day shift to provide patient care within the Nursing department. The role involves working under the supervision of Charge Nurses and delivering care using the nursing process to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

You will administer medications, perform assessments, document encounters, and participate in training to support growth within a mission-driven, patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer a minimum of one year clinic experience.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs with Charge Nurse and staff as necessary.
• Administer medications, obtain diagnostic tests, and assist with minor procedures as needed.
• Count controlled substances and follow policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Document nursing encounters using SOAP charting and attend mandatory staff meetings and training.
• Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, and supervisory personnel.
