Maxim Healthcare in Dyersburg, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide in-home pediatric care. The position offers hourly pay and comprehensive benefits, with weekly paychecks.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, initiating and revising the plan of care, and administering medications. Requirements include an active RN license in the state, health certificate, PPD/Chest X-ray, and BLS certification; prior RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in home health settings.
• Initiates plan of care and revises it as patient needs change with prescriber guidance.
• Implements therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Responds to changes in patient condition and communicates updates to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews care plans and coordinates education, discharge planning, and coordination as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
