Maxim Healthcare in Randolph, NE is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for a pediatric patient in the family home. This full-time, overnight role offers competitive pay and weekly paychecks with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering care, initiating plans, administering meds, and coordinating education and discharge planning with the team. Requires current RN license and BLS; health certificate and a year of RN experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the practicing state.
• BLS certification.
• Health certificate (per facility contract or state regulation).
• Chest X-ray/PPD current.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using nursing process.
• Initiate plan of care and revise with prescriber as needed.
• Apply therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions per diagnosis and goals.
• Respond to changes in patient status and communicate with physician/supervisor.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor and document effects.
• Review care plans and identify education and discharge planning needs.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required


• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change


• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals


• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor


• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention


• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.


• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).


• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.


• Current BLS card.


• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
