Wilmington Eye is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to supervise and direct patient care within a single operating room, ensuring policy compliance, patient privacy and dignity in a peri-operative setting.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing with RN license in good standing.
  • CPR, ACLS, PALS certifications required or maintained.

  • Ability to promote a positive image with staff and patients.

Responsibilities

  • Participates as a team member in support of the total peri-operative process.
  • Organizes time, equipment, supplies, and personnel for efficient case management.
  • Supervises and directs patient care in a single operating room.
  • Delegates activities appropriate to staff abilities and maintains aseptic technique.
  • Transports patients and communicates surgical details to team members.
  • Ensures patient privacy and dignity and documents care accurately.
