Main function: Responsible for conducting pre-operative testing, patient counseling, and patient preparation for procedure.Employment Status: Non-Exempt, PRN (As-Needed)Schedule: This is a PRN role with no guaranteed hours. Ideal candidates have an open, flexible schedule and can be called upon anywhere from 0–4 days per week based on facility need. We can work with more set day preferences (e.g., Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday), but even set days are not guaranteed hours - schedules fluctuate based on patient volume.New PRN staff must be able to commit to a consistent training period before transitioning to on-call/reduced hours. Consistency during training is essential to learning WESC's workflow. Training is typically structured as approximately 12 shifts within a 4-week period (exact scheduling to be worked out with the Clinical Director), during which the new nurse will be partnered with an experienced nurse to learn workflow, documentation, and procedures.Duties and Responsibilities1.
