You will perform assessments, procedures, and care planning within an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a CA RN license with 1 year of medical/surgical nursing experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a patient-first mindset.

Qualifications

  • Active CA RN license.
  • 1 year medical/surgical nursing in an acute care setting or specialty area.
  • BLS CPR within 30 days; ACLS within 30 days.
  • Demonstrates keen assessment skills and patient-first mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates technical nursing skills (as documented in unit skills list).
  • Utilizes the nursing process to provide safe therapeutic care for patients: Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation
  • Utilizes the nursing process to identify and meet educational and discharge needs of the patients
  • Documentation of the nursing process as required by MMC standards
  • Identifies changes in patient's condition and intervenes appropriately.
  • Provides patient care for a given patient assignment, either as a primary caregiver or by delegating and supervising as a team leader

Job Requirements
  • One (1) year current medical/surgicalnursing in an acute care setting orspecialty area experience
