Job summary

Dignity Health’s Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC) are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a Women’s Health setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with an emphasis on patient safety and outcomes.

Join a collaborative interdisciplinary team, demonstrate strong English communication, and participate in continuous process improvements in a fast-paced clinical environment. Salary is market-competitive and paid hourly.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • 3-5 years clinical experience in a Women's Health environment.
  • Registered Nurse license in CA.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR.
  • Demonstrates ability to work within a team model of patient-care delivery.
  • Demonstrates proficient basic nursing skills and knowledge of the nursing process.
  • Demonstrates a caring, compassionate attitude toward others.
  • Relates with patients/visitors empathetically and tactfully.
  • Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently.
  • Demonstrates clear, effective written and oral English skills, and objective active-listening skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other team members.
  • Ability and willingness to actively participate in process improvement activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with others across all departments.
  • React calmly and efficiently in emergencies.
  • Collaborates and provides leadership with patient-care team.

Responsibilities

  • Uses the nursing process to identify and meet patient needs.
  • Identifies changes in patient condition and intervenes appropriately.
  • Provides patient care for a given patient assignment, as primary caregiver or by delegating and supervising as a team leader.
  • Works collaboratively with physician; reviews orders and reports abnormal labs and significant changes.
  • Collaborates with patients and family to establish a plan of care, including psychosocial needs assessment.
  • Complies with all mandatory reporting requirements.

  • Utilizes the nursing process to identify and meet the needs of the patients.

Job Requirements

Required:
