Job summary

The Ridge of Salinas is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in Salinas, California. You will assess, plan, and deliver care in partnership with families and the care team.

As a nurse leader, you will guide LVN/LPNs and CNAs, ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines, and promote dignity and quality of life for each resident we serve.

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered RN license in California.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws and guidelines for long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver nursing care to residents in accordance with current standards and regulations to ensure quality care and dignity.
• As a nurse leader, guide and support LVN/LPNs and CNAs to ensure optimal resident care.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will plan and deliver nursing care to residents in accordance with current company, federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure that the highest degree of quality care and dignity is maintained at all times. As a nurse leader, you will guide and support a team of LVN/LPNs and CNAs to ensure optimal care for our residents.

Must Have

• Current and unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state - New Grads Welcomed!
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care

Nice To Have

• Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
• Experience in Skilled Nursing environment
• Experience with PointClickCare
