Located on a 27-acre wooded campus in Fairmount Park, Roxborough, Philadelphia, Fairmount Behavioral Health System offers a peaceful therapeutic environment for patients and families.

This role serves adults with psychiatric, behavioral, and chemical dependency needs.

We are currently seeking a Part‑Time Registered Nurse to join our team.

Schedule: Two shifts per week, 7:00 PM‑7:30 AM, including every other weekend.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Licensure and registration by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners as a registered nurse; certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
• Knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships, age‑specific growth and development, limit setting, behavior, and crisis management.
• New grads encouraged to apply; excellent orientation and mentorship program.

• The Registered Nurse supervises nursing care delivery by professional and support nursing staff on a designated unit.
• Prescribes, coordinates, and delegates care using the nursing process, integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care.
• Accountable for nursing care activities on a shift basis and responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Licensure and registration by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners as a registered nurse; certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
• Knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships, age‑specific growth and development, limit setting, behavior, and crisis management.
• One-year prior psychiatric nursing experience preferred; experience with specific psychiatric patient populations preferred.
