St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center in New York is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Telemetry role. You will provide comprehensive cardiac care, monitor patients, administer medications, and document progress as part of a committed team.

You’ll collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize outcomes, advocate for patients and families, and deliver education and emotional support. This role emphasizes cardiology expertise and compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualificações

• BSN degree from an accredited program.
• New York RN license and registration.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required from the American Heart Association.
• Cardiology/telemetry experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for cardiac telemetry patients (including chest pains, positive troponin, CHF, and arrhythmias).
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team including attending physicians and staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for cardiac telemetry patients (including conditions such as chest pains, positive troponin, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), and arrhythmias)
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses / RNs and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.

Requirements

• Passion for Cardiology
• New Grads are welcome
• 1+ years of experience in Telemetry preferred
• Experience reading cardiac monitors preferred
• Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
• Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) required from the American Heart Association

Salary Range

USD $54.48 - USD $82.03 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
