Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
• Licensure and registration by the PA Board of Nursing Examiners as a Registered Nurse is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under the medical direction of physicians, Director of Nursing, and Medical Director.
• Monitor the performance of non-licensed personnel.
• Assist in modifying treatment regimens to meet residents' physical and psychological needs per facility policies and standards.
• Other duties as needed.
• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Monitor resident status and communicate changes to physicians and nursing leadership.
• Supervise and support non-licensed nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery.
• Assist in coordinating and adjusting treatment plans based on resident needs.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations and standards.
• Support a safe, organized, and efficient nursing unit during assigned shifts.
