Job summary

Essex Meadows is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated care team in Essex, CT. You will lead and support nursing staff during assigned shifts, provide hands-on clinical care, administer medications, and monitor resident health to ensure comfort and safety.

The role requires CT RN licensure, CPR certification, excellent communication, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervising direct resident care and nursing personnel during assigned shifts

• Making rounds to ensure quality care in a safe, clean environment
• Assisting with development and implementation of care plans
• Maintaining accurate documentation and medical records
• Responding to resident emergency call systems
• Promoting restorative care and resident independence
• Participating in training, education, and professional development opportunities
• Ensuring proper functioning of equipment and adequate supplies

What You'll Do
