Job summary

White Oak of Columbia is seeking a compassionate PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to support our nursing team with flexible shifts. This role offers pick-up opportunities across weekday and weekend slots, with pay ranging from $33.00 to $40.00 per hour.

PRN/as-needed scheduling means hours are not guaranteed, and benefits are not provided. You will assess residents, administer medications, and update care plans while collaborating with physicians and the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state license.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Willingness to pick up available shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting residents' health conditions.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Developing, implementing, and updating individualized resident care plans.
• Monitoring residents for changes in condition and communicating concerns to the team.
• Collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Providing guidance to LPNs and CNAs.
• Communicating with residents and families with professionalism.
• Maintaining accurate nursing documentation.
• Following facility policies, nursing standards, and infection prevention procedures.
• Supporting a safe, comfortable environment for residents.
