Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for local and travel contracts. You will ensure resident care in a safe environment, develop care plans, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to optimize outcomes.

Requirements include an active RN license in Arizona, at least 1 year hospital experience, and proficiency with electronic charting. BLS is required, ACLS preferred; ability to work flexible hours is essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• Prior experience as an RN in an acute rehabilitation hospital.
• Desire to care for patients in an acute care setting and act with integrity.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Must have 1 year hospital experience.
• Must be efficient in electronic charting system.
• BLS (required) / ACLS (preferred).
• Current TB within a year.
• Physical within 6 months.
• Finger Print Card clearance (current).

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.

• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care.
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team.
• Records the administration of medication.
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure safety regulations are followed and that tasks comply with state and government regulations.
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies.
• Performs other duties as directed.
