Job summary

VSolvit, LLC. is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist 4 to oversee RMF security and compliance for DoD CSM packages, ensuring ATO deadlines while advancing toward Zero Trust Architecture. The role emphasizes continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and STIG enforcement in Azure Gov environments.

Responsibilities include RMF lifecycle management, patching, STIG adherence, and POA&M tracking, with a focus on DoD SRG/NIST controls. Flexible location includes Ventura, CA or Remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–4 years of cloud engineering experience with RMF activities and ATO deadlines.
• Security clearance: U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

• RMF Lifecycle & Compliance Management across RMF steps (1–6).
• Support SCCA stack and future ZTA Mission Landing Zone (MLZ) stacks in Azure Government.
• Schedule package checkpoints, deliver status reports, and perform quality assurance reviews.
• Maintain and report the system’s A&A status and related security events.
• Identify security control baselines and applicable overlays.
• Manage POA&M entries to track, mitigate, and resolve vulnerabilities.
• Support routine patching and ensure STIG compliance.
• Provide compliance support for RMF packages and sustain CN/ZTA MLZ tools.
