Job summary

VSolvit LLC is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist 4 to provide RMF security and compliance oversight for RMF steps 1–6, focusing on protecting legacy stacks and advancing toward Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA).

The role requires DoD clearance eligibility, Security+ certification, and hands-on Azure Government administration with SCCA/ACAS tooling experience. Remote work is possible with on-site options in Ventura, CA.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience: 2–4 years of cloud engineering with RMF activities and ATO deadlines.
• Technical Skills: SCAP scanning tools, Navy eVALUATE, Azure administration, cloud architecture, CI/CD and DevSecOps.
• Security Clearance: U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Certification: Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

• RMF Lifecycle & Compliance Management across RMF steps 1–6.
• Support CSM Packages to achieve/maintain ATO status.
• Schedule checkpoints, deliver status reports, conduct QA reviews.
• Maintain and report the system’s A&A status and security events.
• Assist in identifying security control baselines and overlays.
• Manage POA&M entries to track and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Support SCCA stack and ZTA MLZ deployments in Azure Government/Commercial.
