Job summary

ViaSat Government is seeking a highly capable RMF/ATO specialist to sustain our security posture across mixed physical and virtual environments. You will harden configurations, validate against DISA STIG, and ensure audit-ready documentation.

Collaborate with Cyber Security Operations Center, Security Engineering, and system owners. You will perform quarterly STIGs, contribute to risk assessment, and remediation tracking. Travel up to 15% and operate in a fast-paced, mission-critical setting.

Qualifications

• Five+ years administering virtualized environments, storage, routing/switching, and enterprise firewall policies.
• Know-how of DoD security posture, DISA STIGs, POA&Ms, IAVMs, and RMF.
• Security+ certification or equivalent baseline.

Responsibilities

• Sustain security posture and compliance evidence across networks and systems.
• Hardening configurations to meet DISA STIG requirements and validate changes.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security Operations Center, Security Engineering, and system owners.
• Capture evidence, maintain templates, and keep RO/POA&M records current.
