Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Senior Information System Security Officer to collaborate with application leads, system administrators, DBAs, developers, and testers to ensure security compliance and achieve or maintain Authority to Operate (ATO).

The role oversees RMF processes for full/partial testing, continuous monitoring, and no-test scenarios, and updates Xacta docs including SSPs, SCTM, STPs, and POAMs. A TS/SCI with CI Poly is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a field applicable to the position.
• 19+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience developing, implementing, and enforcing security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Proven track record in conducting risk assessments and identifying vulnerabilities.
• Experience in advocating mitigation strategies to reduce security risks.
• Strong background in monitoring systems and networks for security breaches.
• History of responding to security incidents and implementing corrective actions.

Responsabilités

• Work with application leads, system administrators, DBAs, developers, and testers to ensure systems are security compliant and attain or maintain ATO.
• Follow RMF for full test, partial test, CONMON, and no test.
• Update Xacta documentation including SSPs, SCTM, STPs, and POAMs.
• Load artifacts like STIGs and ACAS scans.
• Help implement STIGs and mitigate scan findings.
• Respond to ST&E questions and support assessment events.
• Coordinate with ISSMs and SCAs to ensure security controls are properly implemented.
