Job summary

NS4 Inc. seeks an Information Assurance & Cybersecurity Engineer to harden DoD network infrastructure and ensure security, compliance, and risk management across critical telecom systems.

You will apply STIGs, establish secure baselines, perform vulnerability assessments, and support RMF A&A with evidence artifacts while coordinating with network teams to avoid impact on availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Active DoD 8570/8140 Baseline certification at IAT II level or higher.
• Hands-on experience applying DISA STIGs to network hardware and configurations.

Responsibilities

• Apply and document DISA STIGs and SRGs across routers, switches, firewalls, and telecom equipment.
• Establish and audit secure baseline configurations for multi-vendor devices.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and remediate configuration drift across networks.
• Develop POA&Ms for non-compliant controls and track remediation progress.
