Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, LLC in Oak Ridge, TN seeks a Security Control Assessor to conduct RMF-based security control assessments for federal information systems. You will document findings, develop evidence-based remediation recommendations, and support A&A processes with ISSOs and system owners.

This role requires strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53/53A, RMF assessments, and the ability to communicate complex results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, information technology, or related discipline.
• Eight or more years of relevant education, training, and/or progressive experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.

Responsibilities

• Conducts security control assessments in accordance with NIST SP 800-53A procedures.
• Evaluates implementation and effectiveness of security controls.
• Develops security assessment reports with findings and risk determinations.
• Gathers assessment evidence and validates control implementation.
• Supports SSPs and assessment documentation.
• Reviews POA&Ms for remediation strategies.
• Communicates findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
