Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a Security Control Assessor (SCA) to join the NGAD team at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The SCA will conduct comprehensive RMF/JSIG-based assessments, evaluate threats, and prepare SARs/POA&Ms to support security authorizations.

The ideal candidate will have a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, SAP experience, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Responsibilities include advising ISO/IDO/PSO/DAO and ensuring SDLC compliance across IS

Qualifications

Experience with RMF-based assessments and JSIG guidance.
Experience advising ISO/IDO/PSO/DAO/AO on assessment and authorization issues.
Ability to evaluate authorization packages and security controls across IS environments.

Responsibilities

Perform oversight of IS security program policy and integration of SAP network infrastructure.
Assess ISs using RMF and JSIG.
Advise Government personnel on assessment issues and risk posture.
Evaluate authorization packages and provide recommendations for AO/DAO.
Determine threats and vulnerabilities and recommend safeguards.
Ensure SAR documentation and POA&M are prepared for authorization.
Review sanitization and clearing procedures per policy.
Assist Government with security incidents and SDLC coverage.
Evaluate hardware/software security impact on authorization boundaries.
