Job summary

Sigma Defense Systems LLC seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team at March Air Reserve Base. The ISSO will maintain RMF documentation, support A&A, and ensure secure, compliant systems throughout their lifecycle. Candidates should have DoD-focused RMF experience and appropriate certifications.

Salary range is $118,000 to $138,000 annually. Eligible for healthcare, retirement plans, and other benefits as part of a competitive package. U.S. citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in IA/C cybersecurity or RMF.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 controls and STIGs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vulnerability assessments using ACAS and coordinate remediation with engineering staff.
• Review and verify DISA STIG compliance for Windows, Linux, and supporting infra.
• Develop and maintain Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
• Support continuous monitoring and overall cybersecurity posture of assigned systems.
• Prepare cybersecurity documentation and reports for government stakeholders.
• Assist with cybersecurity audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
