Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a security-focused engineering professional to perform information systems protection, design, development, and analysis across RMF/STIG domains. The role emphasizes system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and risk assessment within a DoD-focused environment.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree, DoD 8570 IAT certification at a minimum, and an active Secret Clearance with the potential to obtain Top Secret.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (Security+, CASP, CISSP).
• Active Secret Clearance; ability and willingness to obtain Top Secret Clearance.
• Experience with Windows 10/11.
• Experience with Linux (Red Hat 7/8/9).
• Experience with RMF requirements and STIG implementation.
• Experience with vulnerability remediation and security management (system hardening, log management, configuration management).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex RMF issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
