Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Accreditation & Authorization Lead to join a Federal Program in Newington, VA. You will lead RMF activities, develop SSPs, SARs, POA&Ms, SCTMs, and support ATO/ATC processes to ensure DoD and federal cybersecurity compliance.

The role requires 3+ years in RMF/cybersecurity within federal or DoD environments, TS/SCI clearance, and hands-on NIST RMF experience. This onsite position offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience supporting RMF, cybersecurity compliance, or information assurance in federal/DoD environments.
Active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required.
Hands-on experience with the NIST RMF process and ATO lifecycle.
Knowledge of NIST 800-53, NIST 800-37, DoD RMF, STIGs, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

Lead RMF activities through system lifecycle from categorization to authorization and continuous monitoring.
Develop, maintain, and update security documentation: SSPs, SARs, POA&Ms, SCTMs, Risk Assessment Reports.
Assess and validate compliance with NIST SP 800-53 and federal standards.
Coordinate ATO/ATC activities and periodic reauthorizations.
Conduct security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses.
