Zachary Piper Solutions in Newington, VA is seeking an Accreditation & Authorization Lead to join a federal program. You will lead RMF activities across system lifecycle, ensure compliance with DoD and federal cybersecurity requirements, and support ATO/ATC processes.

The role requires hands-on RMF experience, NIST 800-53 knowledge, and certification such as Security+ or CISSP. This onsite position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with RMF in a federal/DoD environment.
• Experience developing RMF package documentation (SSPs, SARs, POA&Ms).
• Hands-on with NIST RMF process and ATO lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF activities across system lifecycle from categorization to continuous monitoring.
• Maintain and update security documentation (SSPs, SARs, POA&Ms, SCTMs, Risk Assessments).
• Assess compliance with NIST 800-53 and DoD RMF controls.
• Coordinate ATO/ATC and periodic reauthorizations.
• Perform security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses.
